2026 Forecast

The 2026 Yang Fire Horse year promises to bring energy, excitement, and lots of enthusiasm for fast movement! Yang Fire on its own is like the sun, only taking a break from shining to let the moon enjoy its time in the sky. It thrives on routine, loves to dote on people and relationships, and simply glows with optimism and perseverance. The Horse also contains this same Yang Fire energy, so double the positive qualities of Yang Fire. However, the challenges will also be doubled. Yang Fire can be naïve, only wanting to see the good in people. Emotions can rage out of control, along with self-destruction and over-excitability. Horses like to stay in their comfort zone unless and until they are forced to run. 2026 will be filled with energy, motivation, and independence. It needs structure and systems, or else the fire will rage out of control. Notice that there isn’t ANY Water in the chart. We must get that externally if our chart is missing it.

Those with Tiger, Dog, or Goat in their chart will find the Horse year to be filled with good fortune and smoother paths. The Rat is the animal at the opposite side of the compass, so is a direct Clash. This means that big changes will be in store for those who have Rat in their chart in either of the 4 pillars. 2026 Feng Shui Flying Stars

(make the changes on or before February 4th)

North: hosts the 6 star. This will bring Heavenly Luck to the Career/Life Path sector. Add Metal elements here or White and Gold colors to strengthen the Nobleman energy of the 6 star.

NE: hosts the 4 star. Romance, relationship, and education luck comes to the Skills and Knowledge sector. Add Water elements or bamboo to increase the strength of the 4 star.

East: hosts the 8 star. While this was THE star for wealth for the past 20 years, it still holds a great deal of positive energy for the Family, Ancestors, and Legacy Building sector. Adding Earth elements and yellow or beige items here will increase the future prosperity energy of the 8 star. Money trees are also a wonderful enhancement here.

SE: hosts the 9 star. The Wealth and Abundance sector is amplified by the star bringing current prosperity along with multiplying effect. Keep a soft light on here, and add gentle Fire elements and pink or purple decorations to inspire joyful energy and romance. Avoid water elements.

South: hosts the 5 star. Historically, the 5 Yellow star brings misfortune and bad luck, especially if the part of the home affected experiences renovations, excessive decorations, and loud noise. It acts as a fulcrum, so sometimes major positives can happen too, but not always easily assimilated. Keep the Fame & Reputation area quiet and add the 5 Element Pagoda to ground the area. White and other Metal colors help to control the heavy earth energy of the 5 star.

SW: hosts the 7 star. The Relationships and Partnerships sector is unsettled by the star associated with violence, betrayal, and theft. Water energy can drain the metal energy of the 7 star, and Fire energy can “melt” the metal and create more Earth, which is the element of the SW.

West: hosts the 3 star. The Children and Creative Problem Solving sector can handle the disruptive energy this year, but it might not be comfortable. The 3 star is associated with quarrels, disputes, and lawsuits, so add Metal to prune away the yin wood energy of the 3. Fire can also be used to control the wood, adding clarity and precision to decision making.

NW: hosts the 2 star. The Helpful People & Travel sector will be a mixed bag. The 2 star can bring illness and disease, but it also is associated with wealth, especially around real estate. Add Metal to enhance wealth and weaken the earth element that is part of the 2 star.

Center: hosts the 1 star. The center sector is all about balance and health, be it physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual. It is an Earth sector, and the 1 star holds the Water element, so things could get a little muddy if emotions can’t be controlled. The 1 star is associated with victory, triumph, and future prosperity, so if your health of any kind has been challenged, this is the year for it to get better! The overall Yang Fire energy of the year means that water could evaporate before the soil of the center can be nourished, though. Find time for grounding, refueling, and meditation. Add a Water element to the center if you find yourself overwhelmed with demands. This is not the year to add more Earth elements to the center.
